Hi, I’m Sumaiya!
The founder and Creative Director of Elora Studio, a Washington, DC–based floral design studio.
My work is inspired by the ephemeral beauty of nature and flowers, and by a lifelong love of creating with my hands. I come from a lineage of Bangladeshi women who expressed creativity and shared beauty through thoughtful craftsmanship, and that heritage continues to shape the way I design today.
There's something incredibly special about watching flowers transform a space and bring people together. Whether it's a wedding, brand event, creative campaign, intimate gathering, or a meaningful gift for someone you love, I believe every arrangement should tell a story and leave people feeling something.
