Meet Sumaiya

Sumaiya Elora Haque is the founder and creative director behind Elora Studio — a Washington, D.C.–based floral studio operating at the intersection of floristry, art, and creative direction. Deeply influenced by her Bangladeshi heritage and a lineage of women rooted in creativity and self-expression, her work blends cultural depth with a modern editorial perspective. Guided by both intuition and technical precision, Sumaiya approaches floristry as a form of storytelling — creating floral compositions and experiences that feel immersive, emotionally resonant, and intentionally composed. Through Elora Studio, she works across weddings, installations, editorials, and brand collaborations, redefining contemporary floristry as an expressive and art-directed medium.
